We left Dubai around 11 in the morning which is maybe a little bit too hot since it's already the beginning of the summer here. After we left the city there was desert all around, but after 1 hour the outlines of mountains were already visible on the horizon.

From distance the mountains seemed transparent and almost weightless. But as we approached they became heavier and seemed to be filled with lead.
When we finally found ourselves on the highway between the mountains, the radio stopped working. I tried to look at once in all directions, because the beauty was around us - harsh, dark and beautiful.
Letters in Hollywood style on the mountain - Hatta - one of the small town well-known among tourists if you love hiking and drive mountain bikes. Also you can find here turquoise-colored mountain lake near the dam, where you can even have a picnic or go kayak.
There is only one remark: it is better not to go there in summer. In +46 under the sun, it turned out to be impossible to go up on the hill to see the lake and to enjoy the view. So for sure we will come back here in October. Stay tuned for the updates and new photographs.
